I am the reflection

you think

you see

when you look

in the mirror

the anti-terrorist

the one who shudders

at the thought

of the destruction

of human life

from two towers 

to two cities

in Palestine

 

I am the story

your children

whisper at night

the one

you can’t seem 

to remember

when making

calculated decisions
